Queensday 2011 was the day of waiting. First we stood in line for one and a half hour to have our faces painted (I was with five friends and we let small children pass us in line), then we had our picture taken and had to wait three quarters of an hour before the photographer eventually gave up on trying to printe the pictures and decided he would send them to us by e-mail. But I had fun anyway, the weather was lovely, I was with friends and I didn't have to listen to the horrible music at the museumplein. What more is there to ask for?
These are some pictures I made of myself when I came home. I'm supposed to look like a Chinese girl.
Isn't it interesting how white make-up gives your face so much more expression?
